Mr. Srđan Dragojević is a Member of the Serbian Parliament, currently sitting on the Committee for Culture and Media.
He joined the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) in 2010 and a few years later became the party’s Vice President. He is a renowned film director and screenwriter, who emerged in the 1990s as a significant figure in Serbian cinema best known for the motion pictures “We Are Not Angels” (Mi Nismo Anđeli, 1992), “Pretty Village Pretty Flame” (Lepa sela lepo gore, 1996), “The Wounds” (Rane,1998), and “The Parade” (Parada, 2011). Dragojević won numerous prestigious awards as director, writer, producer and screenwriter. He authored several books and for one of them was awarded the “Branko Radičević” award, former-Yugoslavia's most prestigious poetry prize. He graduated both in Clinical Psychology and in Film at the University of Belgrade.
